Citizens Advice Scotland is the national umbrella body that provides support services for Scottish Citizens Advice Bureaux from over 200 locations across Scotland – from the outer isles to the inner cities,  and collates client case evidence to shape policy in Scotland and the UK. Scotland’s Citizens Advice Bureau service offers free, independent and impartial advice, and helps to improve policies and practices that affect people’s lives. Research with CAS’ key local and national stakeholders in 2006/2007 found high levels of confidence in the service, which deals with almost half a million citizens every year.
